Job Description
This position is responsible for providing Quality support to all areas in all Riverside facilities with primary focus on monitoring of daily activities of production in the injection molding, metal stamping and PCB board areas.
Education & Qualifications
- 1-year minimum experience in manufacturing required, 3-years’ minimum preferred
- Analytical reasoning in root cause and corrective action identification
- Ability to move throughout the assembly line(s) to monitor daily operations
- Basic mechanical understanding
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to obtain ASQ CQT
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and digital equipment
- Understand and demonstrate proper usage of manufacturing gauges
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilites & Duties
- Perform various quality inspection tasks including First Article Inspections & product audits
- Recommend process improvement and other enhancements to increase operating efficiency
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge towards proper gage usage and handling
- Assist in new product launch procedures
- Analyze product specifications and requirements
- Assist in Internal auditing
- Assist the product teams to respond to corrective action requests
- Communicate timely with all managers and cell leads
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings
- Able to use measuring tools
- Normal finger dexterity and color vision
- Must be a US citizen
- Keep manufacturing areas clean by participating in 5S activities
- May be assigned other duties as needed
Additional Notes
Work Schedule/Job Rotation/Breaks: 10 hour shifts per day with 10 hours overtime per week, mandatory when required. Two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch Work Environment: Inside, some noise from equipment, temperature controlled, handling parts that are coated with coolant and/or rust preventative
