Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a candidate to be part of a highly integrated team of electrical, mechanical and software engineers designing ruggedized electronics for the marine, military and industrial markets. The scope of activities include ideation, design, integration, test and support of transition into the manufacturing facility.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CE/EE/CS
• 3+ years of direct experience in electronics design, test and integration
• Experience with Design for Test and Design for Cost initiatives

Preferred Skills

• Experience in both analog and digital design
• Experience in both linear and switched-mode power supply design
• Experience with microcontrollers (STM32, PIC, ESP32)
• Experience in electronic hardware development (USB, I²C, RS232, UART, SPI)
• Experience with vehicle communication interfaces (LIN, CAN)
• Experience with RF Protocol (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular, Satcom) a plus
• Experience with circuit schematic capture and PCB layout
• Experience with PADS VX (Designer and Layout) a plus
• Experience with circuit simulation software a plus
• Experience in testing and troubleshooting new development products
• Proven ability to work in a team environment – both engineering design and production support

Additional Notes

The ideal candidate will have worked in a multi-disciplined Design Engineering organization and successfully brought products through the complete design cycle: idea – design – test - production – deployment - support.
