Job Description

Position will work directly with the Production team to analyze current production processes, machines, and plant layouts to develop and implement more effective manufacturing processes and machinery to maximize quality and efficiency. As an Entry Level position, Riverside expects that substantial training and mentoring will be required to assist the candidate in learning this position.

Education & Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
  • Must be a U.S. person – US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee/Asylum Seeker
  • Relocation not offered for this position
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Co-Op or Internships are available for consideration

Responsibilites & Duties

  • Participate in product design reviews and production intent unit builds to validate work instructions, test equipment and procedures
  • Design changes to production assets to allow more effective product builds
  • Pinpoint causes of production problems and implement or recommend changes
  • Assist with the design & implementation of test stations
  • Mark-up and correction of production work instructions
  • Manufacturing time studies and labor estimation

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic products and assembly
  • Ability to read schematics and do simple troubleshooting
