ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in the supply chain process by ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations. The Receiving Clerk will collaborate with various departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure that all products meet quality standards before they are stored or distributed. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential, as this role directly impacts inventory management and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Receiving Clerk contributes to the seamless flow of goods within the organization, supporting both operational success and service excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring that all items match purchase orders.
- Document and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods and update inventory management systems accordingly.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and organization of received items.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with barcode scanning systems and inventory tracking software.
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role preferred
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Must be US Person
